rehearseMD is an educational simulation platform. We take your privacy seriously and only collect data necessary to provide and improve our training services. We do not collect or store any real patient information.

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Account preferences

Usage Data

When you use our Service, we automatically collect:

  • Session history (cases practiced, scores, timestamps)
  • Transcript data from practice sessions
  • Performance metrics and progress data
  • Device and browser information

Purchase Information

  • Subscription status (active or inactive)
  • Session credit balance
  • We do NOT receive or store your payment details — Apple handles all billing

What We Do NOT Collect

  • Real patient information
  • Protected health information (PHI)
  • Information about actual clinical encounters

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Track your learning progress and provide personalized feedback
  • Improve our AI simulations and scoring accuracy
  • Send important service updates and notifications
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance the platform
  • Ensure platform security and prevent abuse

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use trusted third-party services including:

  • Supabase for database and authentication
  • OpenAI for AI-powered scoring (transcripts are processed but not stored by OpenAI)
  • ElevenLabs for voice simulation
  • Apple / StoreKit for in-app subscriptions and billing
  • Vercel for hosting

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers who help operate our platform (under strict confidentiality agreements)
  • Law enforcement when required by law
  • Aggregated, anonymized data for research purposes (no individual identification)

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your practice history
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and practice history as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for medical students and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service.
